Clearfield-Jefferson Counties Regional Airport Authority
The DuBois Regional Airport is owned and operated by the Clearfield-Jefferson Counties Regional Airport Authority.The Authority is made up of 9 volunteers, 4 from Jefferson County and 5 from Clearfield County. The current members are as follows:

The Authority employs the Airport Manager, Robert W. Shaffer; Secretary, Trudy Garvey; Marketing Director; Denise M. Trunzo; Line Supervisor, Tim Smith; and 5 Linemen. The linemen are responsible for cutting grass, equipment maintenance, snow removal, and fueling aircraft.
The Authority is responsible for maintaining the State Airport Certificate and ensuring that the Airport complies with all Federal Regulations.
During the past 5 years, airport improvements have totaled over $3 million, including the extension of the taxiway, removal of obstructions, purchase of additional snow removal equipment, and the installation of a generator to be used in emergency situations as well as during periods of high peak demand. The funding for most projects is 95% Federal, 2.5% State Bureau of Aviation; and 2.5% Local. The Federal and State Bureau of Aviation funds are user-generated fees that come from the sale of tickets and fuel. These funds are not general tax funds. The Authority collects its local share from the Passenger Facility Charge that is a $4.50 fee all enplaning passengers must pay.
Additionally, the Authority has 2 sets of T-hangars, each with the ability to hold 10 aircraft. Hangar space is available for rent on a month to month basis. Old T-Hangar rent is $70.00 per month. New T-hangar rent is $121.90 per month.
New T-Hangar rent includes individual hangar area, partitioned floor to ceiling with concrete floor, electric bi-fold door with locking man door. Basic lighting, security lighting, and electric outlet included. Paved taxiways and ramps to the hangar area. The airport has an 8' perimeter fence with an electric gate for access to T-Hangar area. Snow removal and grass cutting are also provided.
Old T-Hangar rent includes individual hangar area with sliding doors for each stall. Hangar is open inside and doors do not lock. Metal ramps that are provided are necessary to gain access in and out of the hangar. Basic lighting, security lighting, and electric outlet included. Paved taxiways and ramps to the hangar area. The Airport has an 8' perimeter fence with an electric gate for access to T-hangar area. Snow removal and grass cutting are also provided.
